I was able to set up my 11M and launched it at least twice with only one faceplant. One launch I did myself. Finally.

Thank you Nora and Pete for all your help launching my new old kite on Pepin. Body dragging on the snow is almost as good as drinking seawater. I may do it again tomorrow (Sunday) if I can find someone to help me launch.

Jimmychunga If your woman is smaller than you, I recommend a 2 meter foil practice kite. They are fun, you can fly them on a soccer field, easy, can't break them when they crash, and they will not be likely to loft her. I know it seems expensive to start small, but those little ones are really addic...
