A group of us enjoyed a nice session on Ottertail as well. Great winds and deep snow all day. Even had a sundog looking down on us most of the day.

I'll second that comment Jim and thanks for the tips on high wind operation. The snow conditions were better than expected. Even though we didn't get a lot of snow, it seemed to blow to the east side of the lake with some nice rolling drifts. Not sure if there is an upper wind limit to an ice screw ...

I was thinking of heading that way late afternoon ~ 3:30 pm. Also thought that Swede may be good due to less drifting.
