Sounds like you are enjoying life as always . Robyn and I have in our plans a month trip to Maui, every year. You have such a great place. Some of the most pleasent moments for me, were sitting around in the camping area at night, doing a little reading or just looking at the sky and stars and light...

Steve I wish I could join you, but I am down in Az. We bought a house in Goodyear, AZ. It is about 25 to 30 miles west of Phonex. I wll be leaving the frigid midwest. We still have to sell our house. So I will return to do that. You and Nancy have a happy holiday. Pat.

Hey Randy, I am in Phonex, Az, doing a lot of golfing. I like your idea of getting over to Maui. Do you think Robyn could do the yard work for the discounted camping, while I go and play? Don't ask what a windsurfer is doing in Phonex. You arranged your life better than I did. Your brother in the wi...

I believe the boat you are referring to being the smallest to cross the Atlantic, is the one built by Jerry Spies of White Bear Lake. He called the boat Yankee Girl. He wrote a book about the whole adventure, I believe called "Alone Against The Atlantic." It is a pretty good read. Steve: M...

The quote is from John Bulshi(sp?) in Animanal House, when him and his frat brothers were getting kicked out of school. I say it is over for me, I heard the fat lady sing.

Is the season over?

The water is cold and temps are in the low 40's, and there has not been any wind. I have not seen the sun in about two weeks and I am losing my tan. It must be time to head south. See you all next year. The tan man.

I have your kite bag. The forcast for tomorrow is 10 to 20 out of the NW. There is a chance we will both be at Da Bear. Otherwise, I can arrange for you to get it. I was having a great time on my 5.5, until I puched a hole in it. Pat.

Randy's place in Maui is truely a magical place. To be able to spend the day at the beach and come back to Randy's place and take a nice hot shower, and then sit outside and look at the stars, lights, mountains, and ocean, is one of the best experiences I have ever had. I know I plan to go back to M...

John: The board your are using should be sailed in maybe 10 to 25 mile per hour wind. I think what you wanted to do was, go upwind to dish the wind off when you were overpowered(not round up). The board you had has too much volumn to be responsive to going up wind when the gust hits. Unfortuntally, ...

The ususal suspects showed up at the Bear. I sailed my 4.5 all day. Was powered most of the time, and sometimes overpowered. I can not remember the last time I have sailed a 4.5 two weeks in a row in Minnesota. It looks like we can plan on sailing small sails on Wednesday for the rest of the year.

I second Randy's fellings on yesterday at Da Bear. I think that was the best day I ever had at the Bear. Fully powered most of the day on a 5.5 sail and 120 liter board. After sailing from 12 ro 4 I had to quit. As I told Randy when I was quiting, I hate to leave the when there is still good wind, b...

I looked at the weather this mornining and it said 10 to 15. I called Stan and he said experimental did not show much. My wife bought a new golf bag and cart and wanted to try it out. So I made a tee time and we went golfing. While we were playing the trees were moving around pretty good. After we f...
