Big Marine I hear is a rough spot to enjoy the wind unless it is perfectly NNW :? So hopefully You can find another place!! On a NW I sail from a friends or a little public access down South Shore Drive... That is where I launched from the other day when you were at the main beach... I have no idea ...

I've been watching the webcam on mnlakecams.com and the time lapse... It's looking like the lake may possibly be free by the middle of this week !! And a NW on Wednesday??? Anyone think it'll be clear for a Fr Hennipen sesh???

When or where?? I am hoping to be there around 3-330 PM today! I will sail from a public access which there are a few. Look along the North shore drive to find one that looks suitable for your launch needs.

Alright, change of plans. I have never been to Cannon so I am going to hit Cannon around 930 am since it is about the same drive.

Anyone know about how long of a drive it is to Cannon from the Cities??

I am thinking I will be staying local tomorrow, as in Forest Lake, but will hit the WAC early Thursday if there will be others.
