You forgot the two most accurate and easiest to read... they also make it easy to find the best location for wind... RUC and RAP.

I'm headed to Waconia at 1pm! Planning to launch from the beach... looks like the wind is going to be almost straight north so will be a little funky at the DNR Launch.

For the last year or two (however long it's been since rapid update cycle (RUC) went off line) I have been using Rapid Refresh (RAP). But today I noticed I was actually looking at RUC not RAP. Had a good ride down there! Decent power on the 17m.... and about an hour in the flatwater before loosing power, going down wind and hitchhiking back to the launch!

I think we hit the summer doldrums… looks like there is a possibility for a big kite sesh on Waconia today. I’m debating if it’s worth leaving work early and making the hour drive each way for a slight chance of an enjoyable session….
