Fun to be out on flat water right on the edge of the ice. The ice stayed mostly in one piece after freezing hard the two weeks AFTER thawing out.

It was the first time in 3 years or more that I was able to be at cannon on a strong south wind. There were nice areas where the waves cleaned up and made either twin tip or surfboard fun. I was in an 8m kite that was solid from about 1:30-5:00. Although the windsurfers seemed to have some great run...

Looks good! Not monster, but winds from 15-25... That probably means 3-4' waves.

WOW!!!!!! thank you thank you thank you thank you. Had 1.25 hrs on the water. Got settled in after a tack or two and then it was all zen. Sort of different when are solo. Sounded like freight trains mist of the time, and there were gusts to 40 for sure, but it was all sort of slow motion. Some crazy...
