Re: Broken bar 2013 Ozone Summit

I have a friend who also broke his Ozone bar. He contacted Ozone and they sent him a new one. I guess they are aware of the defect.

No Wind Activity

My nephew and I hit the creek last week for the second time with the 10 year old kiteboard. Really fun. The water had dropped quite a bit from the Memorial weekend but was still fun.

My board was found by a fisherman a week later, "way up in the bullrushes on the North end". Yipee! Glad I had my name and number on it.

Nokomis

Hey Mike I must have just missed you on Nokomis. I left a 1:45. Yes, those hidden slushy spots were challenging. Thankfully I didn't fall in those areas. Still nice to be out on the board for a couple of hours.

I think it is the weight of the snow that is forcing the water to surface. Maybe Waconia being a larger lake won't have the same problem. i too went to Calhoun. It looks good from the parking lot but its all slush under the white. I think that might be it for Calhoun. Back to field hunting. Scott le...

I think what little snow is left looks better on Harriet, if you are considering a city lake. I only have a couple of hours today so is Harriet is where i will be heading around 11. I will put in around the South Beach.
