Who was out at Calhoun on Saturday afternoon? I had friends in town and was showing them around and ended up at Calhoun. Wind was unbelievable. The people windsurfing out there were stylin, unfortunately, I didn't have my rig with me to go play.

It is funny that as my plane is getting closer to Minnesota, the wind forecast drops. When I'm home on the weekend, the wind looks dead.

But I'm out of town again next week so all of you might get another go on the wind.

I've come to realize that everytime I go out of town, the wind blows. Happened last week and it is happening again this week. I'm not happy.
I think everyone owes me big.

Just love how the shortrange forecast shows the best wind at 1AM Sat night.

Just need to put some lights on the rig and do night surfing

I was able to take my windsurfing gear out to Lake Minnewashta on Fri, Sat and Sun. Friday was pretty good, light winds, but good to start learning on. Unfortunately, the wind stopped blowing while I was out on the lake, D'OH. Good thing the wife was kayaking on the lake too so she gave me her spare...

Does anyone know of a good website that can give temps for area lakes. This is my first springtime here and only have a 3/2mm suit. Want to get in but don't want to freeze my cajoles off.
