Hoigaards has these for $45. They were the best they had there I thought as far as dexterity and apparent insulation. I can't find any reviews though.

Ice climbing gloves sound like they would hit the spot. I will have to think hard about $90 though! The Cabela's ones look nice, but maybe a little bulky? Dakine Cobra are the ones I was considering from my own research. I'm not sure if they are a trim as they look, though. It's hard without trying ...

What would you recommend for snowkiting gloves? What I have don't work at all for dealing with the bar, lines and releases, etc.

Competitive ski gloves? Biking gloves? Has anyone found a great product/solution?

Movement between the plate and the board is NOT ok. I stopped over at Hoigaards, but this stuff is too old. The guy was very helpful, and is a snowkiter himself, but no old K2 washers around. I tried getting some new screws at the hardware store, but no luck there either. They need to be about 2mm ...
