Re: builders: fiberglass fabric source?

Many years ago I built a board and bought my fiberglass and epoxy at Iasco. It is located on the same block as the old Hoigards location off 100 and 36th. Last time I drove by it was still there. Check em out.

Re: Washing a Wetsuit

1. The stink comes from bacteria. 2. Your problem comes from not allowing the wetsuit to flush normally by wearing a drysuit. The bacteria festers in its ideal breeding grounds. 3. Rinsing your wetsuit after use and drying it well will help. 4. Soaking it in a 5 gal bucket of cold water with a table...

chinook makes inserts that you can buy and epoxy in. Or... you can make your own inserts and epoxy them in.

I can't belive after all these years yesterday was my first experience there. It's the best minnesota has to offer. Steady winds and big waves. I was lightly powered on a 4.7 and some of the waves out there were over head high. It took a while to get used to it being onshore and all but by the end t...

The dean story I heard had humble beginnings. It started out in a trailer park with a plus sized trailer park girl. ;)

Never met him but the story is a legend.

I should be out there after the 4th if all goes as planned.

Hey Brian. When are you going out there? I got 2 weeks off of work and am thinking about July 17-31. I'm still not sure if i''m gonna drive or fly but i'm leaning toward driving. Are you still thinking about camping at Tucker? I may end up there since i no longer have a van. Anyway let me know your ...

Does anybody have a more detailed diagram for this type of setup. I would like to set my kite up with it. I think the north looks a little better than the wipika.

That's pretty good footage of that wave. It's a big day there. What you can't see in the video is that the wave is pretty much still wave. If you were standing on the shore the people would be surfing in the same spot. Also if you saw them wipe out you would see how strong the current was to make th...

Thanks. i'm also 190 so your input is good. Another question: at what size does a kite start to lose performance. I have heard that kites bigger than 16 are difficult to water relanch and dont have very good performance. Is this true? Or has modern technology changed the performance of larger kites?...

Kite quiver

I bought a 14m high ar kite and am looking for adice for the next size to buy. Bigger and smaller. In windsurfing I like the .7 difference in sail size. 4.0 4.7 5.5.

What are good kite quiver sizes?

Thanks in advance

HOT VIDEOS

After watching that wicked 15 min video I have to get into kiting this year. Hopefully I will have a kite in a couple of weeks and some of you old timers can help me get going.
