so you just glued the new seal over the old seal. I think you can heat and remove the old glue and seal but I would probably rather have a professional do that. I'm hoping to repair the seal temporarily until the season is over and then send it in. Thanks.

I ripped my wrist cuff yesterday when taking off drysuit. From the opening up, about 1 1/2 inch tear! Can I glue on a patch of latex with AquaSeal or do i need to replace the whole gasket? Anyone up for hitting Waconia today? Thinking about kiting and would like some company out there. 15-20 NNW and moderate temps. I'm thinking either DNR Launch or public beach around 1. Hope to see some others out there.

What direction was the wind blowing that day? You may want to try walking along the shore in the water where you think it would end up. There are some stretches along the cliff where people would not find it and it might still be there.

Just arrived at WAC. Already breezy and capping.. head on out! Lot will be full by noon for sure.

Calhoun is not ideal. Not much snow and there are pressure ridges where water has come up. Water may just be on the surface of ice but either way, not the best. Better to head somewhere with a bit more snow.

Made it to Swede today at the advise of fellow posters. I must say it was fun. Some bare spots where you had to stop edging but most of the lake had about an inch or two of bonded snow which was quite fast. At least 10 kites in the sky. Someone got a kite in a tree, hopefully rider and kite are ok, ...

Did Swede freeze over before we got the snow. If there is some snow coverage, i'd be up for checking it out this weekend. Otherwise a grass field might work.
