Re: The Sea was Angry on Wensday my friends...

Thanks for sharing the vibe on the lake.
I’m out with a torn Miniscus so I haven’t been out for 2 months,
It always seems like the wind gets good when ya can’t go out, so frustrating.
Keep the updates coming!

Just posted review of Bonaire

Go to destinations page if your interested in going to Bonaire. Dutch Caribbean. You can contact me if you have any questions about flights, accommodations, rental gear, etc... It’s a little pricey and hard to get to, but it’s worth the effort. I used air miles to get there, and found a house to ren...

Lac Bay Bonaire, Dutch Antilles

Fellow wind enthusiasts, I just returned from 2 weeks in Bonaire, so I’d thought I’d pass on info for anyone considering going to this part of the world. Of any windsurfing vacations I’ve been on Lac Bay is probably the easiest place to learn to Windsurf or improve your windsurfing skills, but for m...

Lac Bay Bonaire 2weeks ago

Wind lovers need to check out Bonaire.
I had 11 days of wind out of 14. I’ll write a review in the travel section in the next few days.
Sail on!

I guess I just switched from pepin to cannon too.
Really don't want to be the only sailor on the lake.

Re: Wednesday and Thursday winds

If the winds are straight from the west, is there a better launch spot than the east side boat launch? I thought there might be a spot closer to the town of Waconia.

Re: La Ventana, Mexico...

I was there 2 years ago in January. It's a kiters paradise. I was windsurfing and I was outnumbered 10 to 1 by Kitesurfers. There is a camping city that has developed there, it's mostly californians who drive down with there RV's and make it there home for the winter. If your planning on camping it'...

I've flown a lot to mexico with equipment on a few different airlines, and I've never had a problem. However I've never done it on suncountry. It seems to me that it really depends on who is at the luggage counter. Luck of the draw. Sometimes they charge me 50.00, but many times they haven't charged...

Looking for sports therapist

Any fellow wind enthusiast's out there who could help
me with a shoulder strain. I've been out of commission for a few weeks
and need to get back on the water.
Or if anyone can recommend somebody I'd appreciate it.

Anyone headed to Lake Washington on Saturday? I'm thinking Rifleman
could be stellar.
What lake would be better for a SE wind? Wa. or green?

Jesse, Thanks for the post, I was curious after driving by my local lake in MPLS. still totally frozen over, if it was clear in the south. I can't believe it's open already, woo hooo. See you down there on the next decent windy day. Joe V
