Ok, I'm a newbie... but are there any other lakes a guy could ride other than Mille Lacs, Wac, and Da Bear? we are in the land of 10,000 lakes, there has to be more! I realize that park space, acreage, and wind obstacles play a part, but why is everything an hour and half away! there has to be more,...

I like that mapbuilder, very cool! You cool even add more info, if you wanted to dive into it. add icons for summer and winter, photos, lots of info is packed into the API. Not that i know anything about it, but I have run across a few sites.

Had a great time at the Bear. while I never did get my kite up, I did meet some cool guys! Matt, DaveZ. I didn't realize the scene here was so strong! Can't wait for the next time!

Shacks.

I can attest to Shacks! Out near Aquadilla on the North West Corner. Good side shore winds, I saw kiters out there everyday.
