Re: Thin Ice !!!!!

i found a soft spot today with one of my ski boots in front of my aunts house. she lives ~6 doors south of mahto beach. it seemed like it was an open seem from a craze/heave near shore in probably just a few feet of water, that had drifted in with snow. with what the dnr reports, we might just have ...

new line time

just a quick question for those in the know.... does q-powerline really function well without sleeving, as advertised? im sure it would work, but it seems like switching lines or removing lines could be an epic pain with such a small diameter knot even if one uses a reef or larks head... thoughts/ex...

Re: NON-GATHERING

agreed. i took the opportunity to go out and try out a new rig on an old kite (failure) and meet some people (success). everyone was in good spirits, and the guy from the pioneer press seemed to have a good time watching everyone out there. if this is how you guys get together when events are cancel...

Re: White Bear Today

i know this isnt a sailing board, but after reading this post a couple times i am 99% sure that may 17th was the day i put my mc scow in last year. i was rigging up at ramsey with my boat in the shallows when the wind started to pick up. i looked out across the lake and saw a few other craft out the...

Re: diesel bar on a fuel

its black with slingshot on it in gray. i agree that a bigger bar for a bigger kite would be good but i think for the sake of making it work, but i can afford to be patient and wait for a decent deal to pop up... (anybody have ~23 inch a 5 line bar theyre lookin to offload...?) as you mention, peopl...

Re: diesel bar on a fuel

thanks a bunch for the speedy feedback guys. youve definitely raised some questions that i havnt even thought of just because of the limited amount of equipment ive had experience with. for the record, my diesel has what appears to be a 17" (measured between the rubber ends). i was wondering if...

diesel bar on a fuel

hi guys - ive been kiting for a few years now on a patched together quiver and am looking to streamline things a bit. i found a nice deal for a handful of fuels ('06-'07) and a machine. anyway, for slingshots, i already have a diesel 13m with the stock bar and was wondering if i could get away with ...
