Parakiting anyone?

Not sure how I feel about it, looks like fun, but I think I would rather just go kiting. Somebody should tell them to get a real kite and go hit the water...check out the flats behind the sandbar that spot looks sick!

New Mystic Harness

Mystic has released a new ultra light harness called the Shadow. It looks pretty cool and very minimal allowing for a lot of movement in the harness. Also it looks like its missing much of the flotation with that most standard harnesses have. On water this may make it a little harder to stay buoyant...

New Years Snowkite Rally-Canceled

I hate to be making this post, but unfortunately we have to cancel the event next weekend out on Swede Lake due to conditions. Right now, Swede is more than 80 percent ice, and with no considerable amount of snow in the forecast, it doesn't look like we are going to have rideable conditons for the t...

Re: 13 Rev in in light wind

Those revs work great in light wind. I have a 15 that I absolutely love. It gets me out and going up wind in next to nothing, but I still feel in control in big gusts, and compared to most other light wind kites, like my previous 17.5m machine, this is crazy how smooth and fast this kite is. Also, I...

Card Printer?

I hate to ask this question, but does anybody have or have access to a card printer that could make me a school ID? I am going on a ski trip with my family over spring break, and if I have a high school ID I can get a student discount which is more than $30 a day off. The only problem is, my school ...

Sometimes I get so into trying the latest trick that I forget about just having fun. Today was one of those days. I was shouting for joy (and a little fear) as my sled got more and more powered up in a gust. It was great. Kiting is great. Enjoy it. Yes, such good advice. I feel the same way a lot o...

We got some plans for new rails. After building the scamp, it opened up a whole new world of possibilities working with metal for our projects and making some really professional stuff. We will have it all done and ready for the rally next winter, and hopefully we will make everything very portable ...

Great event all together, too bad the crossing didnt work out as we had hoped, but it was great to see everybody in the community riding together and pushing it. Friday we found some great riding over at Malmo, Nathan showed me some really cool stuff down wind, it was like a terrain park made of all...

Just got back from the award ceremonies, Denis got 2nd in the mens pro kiter cross by a very small margin, heard it was a pretty close finish. party there was still going strong and usually goes pretty late. Snowkite Rodeo update

Great day at the Rodeo today. Yesterday there was wind for about 10 minutes, and then died off quickly. I made the call to go up to Discovery, a ski area overlooking Georgetown Lake, and had an awesome time. $24 for the half day lift ticket, and the backside is hard to beat. Great steeps, fresh snow...

Nathan summed it up pretty well, overall really fun weekend. Saturday was a little bit much, but even in the cold on Sunday we were out riding and exploring. There is some really cool natural kickers all over the lake caused by some of the rocks peaking through the ice, sweet place to ride especiall...
