Are the fields, that you talk about, state-owned land? Or is it privately owned (and riding with owner's permission)? I'd hate to just find an empty field, ride on it assuming it's public, and find out I was tresspassing.

I'm half-way done making an an ice proa based off the instructable. I'll be working tonight to finish it up by the weekend. My welding skills kinda suck, so we'll see if it can hold up to any punishment. I'll post pictures when I'm done, but so far it looks like something from junkyard wars.

Is there enough snow for a snowboard? If so I might head out there too...

I thought that a windsurf board would be foam-core with a fiberglass exterior, but I'm not sure what...
